NOS/NSQ Creative Media Production

This National Skills Qualification (NSQ) for Creative Media Production is a comprehensive framework developed to standardize and certify vocational skills across three progressive levels. The qualification was created by the Federal Ministry of Education and the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE), with financial support from The World Bank's Innovation Development and Effectiveness in the Acquisition of Skills (IDEAS) Project. Its primary purpose is to establish a unified and robust benchmark for competency, ensuring that individuals entering the creative media sector possess the practical abilities and theoretical knowledge required for various roles.The standards are intended to guide training providers in developing high-quality curricula and to serve as a reference for employers to assess the competence of potential employees. By outlining specific performance criteria and knowledge requirements for each unit, the NOS aims to bridge the gap between vocational training and industry demands, thereby fostering a skilled workforce that is both relevant and competitive. This structured approach helps to improve the overall quality of media production services and contributes to the growth and professionalism of the creative economy.
